Year 3 - Year 8:

1) We will discuss your child’s assessment requirements, to ensure that this is the best fit assessment for them.

2) Detailed background information about your child is then gathered from you as their parents/carers/guardians, from their educational settings and from any existing external assessments.

3) A detailed cognitive and academic assessment is planned, to take place either at school or at home; whichever your child would find most comfortable.

4) A full assessment report is provided, detailing your child’s learning profile, their strengths, relative and/or actual weaknesses, formal diagnosis of any SpLD and recommendations for their provision and support.

5) Finally, a meeting will be arranged (either in person or virtually), with you as parents/guardians/carers to discuss the assessment report, outcomes and next steps.

 

Year 9 - Year 13:

1) We will discuss your child’s assessment requirements, to ensure that this is the best fit assessment for them.

2) Detailed background information about your child is then gathered from you as their parents/carers/guardians, from their educational settings, from any existing external assessments and from them, themselves.

3) A detailed cognitive and academic assessment is planned, to take place either at school or at home; whichever your child would find most comfortable.

4) A full assessment report is provided, detailing your child’s learning profile, their strengths, relative and/or actual weaknesses, formal diagnosis of any SpLD and recommendations for their provision and support at school and at university.

5) Recommendations for access arrangements may also be made, if appropriate to your child’s profile. Please note, implementation of these recommendations it at each school’s discretion.

6) Finally, a meeting will be arranged (either in person or virtually), with you as parents/guardians/carers and, if appropriate, with your child, to discuss the assessment report, outcomes and next steps.

Adults:

1) We will discuss your assessment requirements.

2) I will ask you to provide detailed background information about your education, learning and development.

3) A detailed cognitive and academic assessment is planned, at your home, university, college or workplace.

4) A full assessment report is provided, detailing your learning profile, strengths, relative and/or actual weaknesses, formal diagnosis of any SpLD and recommendations for your support and access in further education and the workplace.

6) Finally, a meeting can be arranged (either in person or virtually), with you as an individual and/or with your support/inclusion team/work mentor/HR department, if appropriate, to discuss the assessment report, outcomes and next steps.

Price

The price of an assessment varies, depending on the age and educational stage of the child or adult. Please contact me to discuss your assessment requirements.

A non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of booking.

The balance will be payable at least 24 hours before the day of assessment.
